Eric Brockmeyer Renderings 1957 Chevy Truck
This '57 Chevy truck is currently under way at Trick Truck & Rod Shop. Vintage truck spotters will notice the GMC hood that makes for a nice air intake behind a custom grille. A subtle chop, low hot-rod stance, louvered hood, and salt-flat-inspired Schott Velocity wheels give it a classic vibe, but as Eric put it, "the dark green suede paint with green flames will definitely not be subtle."

We first displayed Eric Brockmeyer's work in Issue #12 of 2009 and described how he'd used his Industrial Design degree to move from designing yacht interiors to starting his own design business. Since he had such creative and vivid renderings last time around, we asked if he had anything recent in the works that was not filed under "Top Secret". He sent us the following renderings that picked up right where his old ones left off.

If you like Eric's rendering style, contact him to see if he can bring your project from a vision to a work of art.

  • Eric Brockmeyer Renderings 1965 Chevy Suburban
Scott's Hot Rods & Customs in Oxnard, California, is handling the build of this '65 Suburban. It's shaved, chopped, and features satin black paint with a glossy red roof. Wheels are Boyd Coddington Flat Tops with a brushed finish. Classic pinstriping and Mexican-blanket-style upholstery will continue the old-school theme.

  • Eric Brockmeyer Renderings 1937 Ford Sedan Delivery
Chuck Savoca's '37 Ford sedan delivery is currently under the knife in South Florida. The slick body features suicide doors and flush-mounted glass. Chuck went with a simple two-tone black and silver and "Flying A" accents to lend it the feel of a true delivery vehicle. A set of 17- and 20-inch Dayton wire wheels give the classic big-and-little look with deep lips in the back.

Also from Trick Truck and Rod Shop, and sporting a beautifully brushed set of Schott Velocity wheels, is this '58 Suburban. All of the truck's brightwork will also be brushed and the paint will be a cherry red suede finish that's reminiscent of red oxide primer. Breaking up the smoothed body panels will be a thin lick of hot-rod-style flames. Our favorite detail, however, is the trail of louvers leading to the side-exit exhaust.
