If you have picked up an issue of Truckin magazine in the past two years, you have likely heard about our THROWDOWN competition series. Our in-house Sierra project, better known as Novakane, has been the prominent figure in this series, but it is time for a new pack leader. Taking the muscle truck theme and applying it to a new-body-style Silverado gives us Blue Bomber. Under the hood lies an Edelbrock supercharged 4.8L with Dynatech long-tube headers and MagnaFlow exhaust. Subtle exterior styling gives a sleeper feeling to this regular cab, but it is hard to miss the 15-inch AP Racing big brakes. Inside, the subtly theme is also apparent, with aluminum dash pieces, Katzkin leather seat covers, and a full Polk audio system. Keep an eye out for the buildup and feature of this truck in 2013.

Two of the basic styles that a truck can be built as are rugged and luxurious. Usually, you have to give one to take from another. This 2012 Ram 2500 has the best of both. This is achieved with a 16-inch 3rd Coast suspension lift, full Air Lift air suspension, and 22-inch RBP 97s. The suspension will have plenty of sheetmetal accents. Inside will have luxurious leather seats and a Kicker audio system that will consist of eight Kicker 12-inch subs along the back wall. The sheetmetal styling will also continue on the inside. This will be a must-see truck.

From the Arizona desert comes this '67-'72 K5 Blazer. A hot rod red paintjob with a simple graphic draws the eye in and showcases the smooth lines and shaved body parts. Under the hood sits an LS1 with a Vintage Air front runner system. Tre 5 handled the ultra-low stance by way of a custom frame and air-ride suspension. Leather and billet keep the interior looking good for those open-air cruises.

No strangers to lifted trucks, Street to Sand is building this 2012 Ram 2500HD. A custom-painted lift keeps this beast high above the ground and offers a Cadillac-style ride. BMF Rehab wheels and 40-inch Toyo M/T tires make sure the truck is always rolling. Styling points come by way of a 40-inch Rigid lightbar on top of the cab, paint-matched Fusion front bumper with Rigid lights mounted within, and a BMF black mesh grille. A custom wrap acts like a giant business card for Street to Sand, drawing in customers like white on rice.
