Here is the Reflexxion hood as delivered by ground freight from Sport Truck Direct in Scottsdale, Arizona, all painted and ready to be installed in place of the flat stock hood.

Take note of the smooth flowing lines of the cowl portion of the Reflexxion hood. Even the underside of the hood retains the same factory support still braces, so the hood will retain its structural integrity for many years to come.

The backside of the most raised portion of the Reflexxion cowl is finished off very nicely. Rather than be a big dead air space, Reflexxion added a series of vent holes, which gives the driver- and passenger-seat occupants a cool-looking view when the hood is locked down into position.

Installation of the Sport...

Installation of the Sport Truck Direct-supplied Reflexxion hood is really a simple remove-and-replace operation. The stock hood obviously must be removed, and upon doing so, retain the factory mounting hardware, since it will need to be reused.

After the stock hood was removed,...

After the stock hood was removed, the newly painted Reflexxion hood needed to be hoisted up onto the stock hood gas struts. In our case, it was a three-man job, due to the truck's extreme height. Normally, two people should be able to handle the installation.

Make sure to carefully align the hood both from the front to the rear and from side to side.

With the new Sport Truck Direct-supplied Reflexxion hood now in place, it was time to install and tighten the factory-supplied mounting hardware by hand. At this time, both sides can be installed. However, prior to completely ightening the bolts into place, open and close the hood several times to check the gaps at all the corners and along the fenders.

Now completely tighten the existing factory hardware. In our case, this was done with an air ratchet.

The new hood can now be closed...

The new hood can now be closed to once again check for any potential fitment problems or excessive gaps that may have occurred when doing the final tighten assembly procedures.
Take note of how perfect the gaps are along the tops of the fenders of this '03 Dodge Ram. A lot of that has to do with fitment by the L&G Enterprises crew, but more importantly it has to do with a good quality product by Reflexxion to begin with.
