Josh Cabrera isn't old enough to remember when a Schwinn Orange Krate was the baddest thing a kid could cruise down the block. Truth be told, some of us on the Truckin' staff aren't old enough either, but the smooth shade of orange Josh's 2002 Ram is wearing does bear a striking resemblance to the classic Schwinn.

Josh owns Elite Auto Fabrication, in Cleveland, Tennessee, where the truck went under the knife and received Firestone 2600 'bags at all corners and an AirBar four-link in the rear. All of that cutting gave it the right stance and allowed the Ram to sit on 26-inch Ultra wheels. Josh and Oran Berkley did the bodywork, and together they molded in a roll pan and shaved the tailgate and door handles to keep anything from distracting from the lines of the truck. With the metalwork complete, the guys handed the truck over to Performance Paint in Athens, Tennessee, where they applied the House of Kolor Bittersweet Pearl to the smoothed body, Checkmate tonneau cover, Street Scene bumper cover, and Stylin Concepts grille.

Josh's Ram was built in tribute to his late grandfather, and we're sure he'd be roud of the final product. Josh had a lot of help getting his truck this far; he would like to thank all of his friends and family, as well as Jean Westmoreland, Tim Frank at Installations Unlimited, and Oran Berkley for making it all happen.

Open the doors of the Quad Cab and you'll find black leather and suede seats courtesy of Advanced Headliners in Cleveland, Tennessee, and more Bittersweet Pearl in the form of a custom fiberglass gauge cluster and dash insert. Inside that dash insert is a Pioneer AVIC-N1 that sends DVD video to the headrest monitors, provides navigation duties, and also controls the JL amps and two 10W6 subs mounted under the rear seat. Contrasting the Bittersweet Pearl are House of Kolor Orion Silver kick panels and door panels built by Josh with help from Tim Franks at Installations Unlimited in Cleveland, Tennessee. The panels hold three Planet Audio P6 speakers in each front door and two Planet Audio P5 speakers in each rear door. Josh's center console wears both colors and houses a 15-inch TView monitor in case the rear-seat passengers tire of watching their own headrest-mounted monitors.
