The panel body was completely blasted to get it down to virgin metal. Larry fabricated the steel running boards, a massive one-piece gullwing rear door, and a custom rear roll pan with a recessed license plate. Larry used the stock grille shell that is flanked by a pair of Hagan Tri-Bar blue dot headlights. The rear LED taillights were sliced and frenched into the roll pan. The panel's metal surfaces had been shaved of door handles and badges. After endless hours of block-sanding and filling, Larry achieved flawless, straight panels, doors, and fenders. The rich purple color was applied to continue that clean, smooth appearance.
The interior dash was extended 2 inches and then smoothed. The original gauge cluster was removed to make room for a Dakota Digital cluster. The incredible stitch craft was created by Barkey's Upholstery in Orillia, Ontario, Canada. The cut-down front seats were donated from a Dodge Caravan, and the rear seat was pulled from a Ford Aerostar. The seats were covered in Ultra bone leather with purple leather flame inserts. A huge seamless, one-piece headliner was also covered with Ultra bone leather. The Ultra bone leather door panels were accented with purple leather armrests.
