Basik Addictions did an amazing job installing the audio and video in the Ford, which might as well serve as the company's multimedia center. Controlling the system is a Jensen DVD touch screen sending signals to the Kicker-only audio system. Mounted in the roof are five Kicker amplifiers surrounded by a killer billet rack complete with blue LED lighting. This much power pushes the four Kicker L7 subs, three sets of Kicker components in the doors, and the remaining stock-located speakers. In case listening to the movies is boring, you can also watch them on ten Audiovox monitors, ranging from 7- to 15-inch sizes, located in the headliner, headrests, and door panels. A Gawed iPod adapter allows the Jensen head unit to play a host of MP3s, and the Banks Power PDA is mounted in the slick fiberglass console. US Speedo stainless steel gauges provide the vital information, and UPR billet knobs add some contrast to the dark interior.
Debuting at the 2005 SEMA show, we couldn't wait to get the truck into the studio and hammer out the feature. Most complete Super Duty ever? From top to bottom, it is hard to argue with a truck you can drive to work, the desert, and the show fairgrounds. For more information, check out www.atsdesign.com.
