Ask any trucker what the most important part of his truck is and, after a little thought, he'll probably pick wheels, motor, paint, or stereo. But, actually, the best answer is the bed, since that's what defines it as a truck in the first place. Originally created for utility, the beds in most of our trucks rarely see a load of gravel or Aunt Martha's new washing machine.
