Fresh off the Lot
Taking a look back at our nations economy trying to recover in 2011, we gathered the data for new truck sales as they old adage says, numbers don't lie.

Ram Laramie Limited

President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand, Fred Diaz was quoted as saying the new, "Laramie Limited is designed to meet the high expectations of affluent pickup truck buyers looking to combine capability with elegance." Already fitted with luxury features, the Limited builds on the Laramie’s lineup by adding dark slate Natura Plus leather seats with contrasting graystone piping, along with premium leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and high-gloss piano-black accents on the dash and door panels. Creating a “street truck” look, the traditional Hemi and Ram badges are absent from the body. The high-end feel is amplified by a body-color front fascia with foglamps, chrome accents on the door handles, grille shell, door panels, and a block-lettered "Limited" logo on the tailgate. Limited packages will be available on 1500, 2500HD, and 3500HD models.

2012 Mopar Jeep Compass True North
Giving Jeep Compass buyers something to banter with off-roading Grand Cherokee owners about, the new Mopar True North is a limited edition Compass with a 2-inch Rocky Road Suspension lift kit, BFGoodrich All-Terrian tires, and matte-black 16-inch wheels. The beefier stance is complemented by a matte black finish found on the roof, wheel flares, lower fascia, and grille surround. Mopar also spruces up the interior with an upgraded audio system from Kicker, pitch and inclinometer gauges, and Mopar-specific neoprene seats.

Ford’s EcoBoost Smash Hit
With 127,683 EcoBoost-equipped vehicles sold in 2011, Ford is tripling production capacity at its Cleveland plant. Improved fuel economy, impressive power, and miniscule turbo lag are several of the top reasons why consumers are flocking to Ford’s latest engine technology. After driving several EcoBoost F-150s and putting them through extensive testing, we completely understand why V-8 sales are down, and 56 percent of F-150s sold in 2011 were powered by the 3.7L V-6 or 3.5L V-6 EcoBoost.
