When I was a youngin', Saturday mornings consisted of sitting in front of the TV with my bowl of Lucky Charms and racecar blanket watching cartoons. Ok, so maybe I do that now as well, but usually on the weekends I am out in my garage doing something to one of my vehicles. I may be detailing one or fixing something on another, but the point is I am doing it. I think that is a big part of what's wrong with the younger generations. They don't do that kind of stuff. They would rather be inside playing video games or sexting pictures of themselves to their friends. There is something about being up early working on my truck that gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling. It might be the 12V current running through my body after grounding out a hot circuit, but I like it. When I have kids, I am going to make sure they get that same feeling of accomplishment as they wash the grease off their hands after a day of wrenching. So get out there and do something. If you have pictures of yourself wrenching on your truck, send it in to firstname.lastname@example.org.
