Goodguys OC And Del Mar - Custom Truck Show

Wildly customized early model trucks invaded Southern California as they attended two back-to-back Goodguys Rod & Custom extravaganzas. The Goodguys crew rolled into the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California, for the first time. Orange County has been a mecca for wild rods and trucks since hot rodding began in the '40s. The two-day event attracted about 2,000 high quality customs. A continuous stream of colorful rides cruised low 'n' slow throughout the shady fairgrounds and drew attention from enthusiasts and spectators all weekend long.

Two weeks later, the Goodguys bunch opened the gates at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California, for their seventh year at the scenic Pacific Coast setting where the turf meets the surf. A record-breaking turnout of both insane custom rides and spectators made for a memorable event. The traditional Goodguys events do their judging on Saturday, then showcase the class winners in the Winners' Corral on Sunday for all to enjoy. At the end of the day, class winners cruised through the picturesque paddock garden to receive their awards in front of the standing-room-only crowd. Needless to say, it was a show to remember.
