Tom "Cherokee" Benwell from Inglewood, California, started showing his '75 Dodge B200 "Cherokee Nation" van at custom van shows all over the Southwest in 1975, when van mania was at its peak. This past year's Summer Madness Uprising 21 was no exception. It attracted custom trucks and van enthusiasts from California, Arizona, and Nevada, who all invaded Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California, for the two-day event.
