Bakersfield, California, is rich in its custom truck and car scene, so we should not have been surprised when Kern County Fairgrounds was overflowing with custom trucks of all shapes and sizes. On the weekend of July 24 and 25, Summer Madness officially returned to the fairgrounds. Dozens of truck, car, and van classes ensured the deserving owners went home with quality hardware and with several really nice custom trucks making their debuts at the show, everyone got to check out the latest and greatest. Sponsors included local Pep Boys stores, Meguiars, and Shocker. If you're in central California, be sure to mark next year's show on your calendar.
