Many of the biggest shows across the U.S. are still going strong thanks to good management and tons of healthy support form hundred of truck owners and sponsors. Definitely one our favorite stops on our multi-state tour every year is Danger Zone in Visalia, California. March 31st marked the Saturday that got us heading on the three-hour drive north to California's rich farmlands and descending onto Mooney Grove Park. Once there, we were greeted by the all the subtlety that almost 800 vehicles crammed into a park could provide. With an absurd amount of custom trucks to check out, it was all we could do to just make our way around the park and soak it all in. This was Dangerous Toy's eighth year for Danger Zone. They had nearly 8,000 spectators with 25 vendors in attendance, all keeping their fingers crossed the weather would stay way. mother Nature had other plans, and brought on some heavy rain and high winds just after noon, sending everyone scrambling to clear out of the show and find some cover. mark your calendars for next year's show!
