Another great Showfest is in the books. After last year got flooded out and the show was moved to Harrah's, this Showfest returned to Sam's Town Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. Held the weekend of May 19-20, several hundred vehicles filled the parking lots, giving showgoers plenty to look at. The temperatures hovered in the 90s the whole weekend so refreshments were a must. Bringing even more excitement to the show, Severed Ties held their 20-year anniversary party and had more than 400 people come out to celebrate.
Some of this year's sponsors and vendors included Status, KIK Clothing, Mad Gear, Kicker, Viair, Ekstensive, and Slam Specialties among many others. On Saturday, Courtney Hansen, from Spike TV's Powerblock was on hand, signing autographs and taking pictures. On Sunday, Cooter, from the Dukes of Hazzard, drew a massive crowd with the General Lee.
