Once again, Heatwave Inc. has put on one hell of a show the weekend of June 2-3, 2012. The temperature was hot, but the rides were hotter at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, Texas. There were more than just static cars and trucks to look at; a burnout contest filled the air with smoke and shredded thousands of dollars in tires. If that isn't your cup of tea, there was also a hopping contest, a tattoo contest, and of course, the obligatory bikini contest.
Live music was provided on the main stage all weekend, as were vendors selling plenty of refreshments. This was also a triple-point event in the USACI db Bass Drags. Some of the sponsors for the show included Mad Gear, Sony, Rimco, Tellez Motorsports, and Ground Zero.
