Most manufacturer test vehicles are pretty beat up and look like they've lived the abused life they oftentimes lead. For Steve McGaughy, driving around in a busted up truck was completely out of the question, so when the McGaughy's Suspension team needed an R&D truck for their new coilover strut product, Steve went out and purchased a well taken care of '10 GMC Sierra. With the new 4/7 drop kit installed, Steve upgraded the looks by way of a full vinyl wrap, T-Rex grille, and custom HID headlights. Don't make the mistake of thinking this test mule is just for show however. Steve proved to all of us that he stands behind his suspension products, and absolutely flogged the GMC all day long. Getting traction during launch proved difficult, but with a Third Place finish in the road course, Steve's Sierra validated the new line of lowering components. More experience behind the wheel going fast will pay dividends and his wife, Michelle is already talking about getting her project truck ready for next year's THROWDOWN.
