When the conversation turns to great truck shows, names like Greenville, Heatwave, and Reso are thrown around. Well after this year, Lonestar Throwdown will be added to that list. In only its third year, the show, held in Conroe, Texas, and has become the biggest and arguably best show in the country. The show's creators, Lonnie Ford and Radar Hendrex, wanted a laid back atmosphere without the drama that seems to emanate from the scene. It would seem that they accomplished that and the masses appreciate it. Over 1,200 vehicles attended the two-day show, with people coming from California, Arizona, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Florida. New Zealand and Japan were even represented at the show.
Vendor row was full of companies selling product, giving away freebies, and filling the stomachs of hungry show goers. These companies include KIK, Solo Films, Power Stroke Enginuities, Mad Gear, Complete Customs, Surface DVD, Tuckn' Clothing, and many others. This show is guaranteed to be bigger and better next year, so you might want to book your hotel rooms now. For more info, check out LST on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/lst.show.
