The name Holley is instantly recognizable to anyone involved in the performance truck scene, and over the years it has become synonymous with horsepower. So, who better to host the nation’s biggest and baddest GM LS engine performance event than Holley? The event is known as LS Fest, and it’s held each September at Beech Bend Raceway, near the company’s HQ in Bowling Green, Kentucky. With a variety of events ranging from a relaxing car and truck show to white-knuckle drag racing and autocross competitions, it’s got something for every Chevy or GMC owner. Don’t think it’s just for late-model truck guys either, since there were plenty of engine-swapped classics, hot rods, and muscle cars to ogle. On top of it all, we hold our LS Fest THROWDOWN event at the show each year and pit some of the nation’s best LS-powered trucks against each other. Check out our photos of the show here, and head to to learn more about the event.
