With a little breeze and plenty of sunshine, the 3rd Annual Third Coast Nationals Car and Truck Show is in the books. This two day event took place on the Hawgstop Bar's country side property in Houston, Texas on April 12-13. This is one of those car and truck shows where everyone comes to showoff their rides like everywhere else, but the grounds allow camping and family is very much involved the whole weekend starting Friday.

The show promoters, Darryl Tracy and John Juarez, go out of their way to make sure the grounds are clean and accommodating, the staff is well oiled, and the crowds have a great time. With over 250 registered vehicles and over 1500 spectators, this show was a success. It was good to see people just hanging out, and talking shop, family, and life.

There were plenty of quality rides spread out over the acreage of the Hawgstop Bar and the adjoining lake for the spectators. There were old school mini's, some newly finished SUVs on 30's laid out flat, lifted trucks, and traditional hotrods. Really, there was everything a custom enthusiast could want to see.

If you're in East Houston, Texas next spring, plan on having a great time with friends and bring the family to camp. It's local, it's close, and it is always a good times.
