As I stated earlier, we are adding numerous shows to our schedules, and we are also planning a grassroots movement of sorts at many of the traditional larger venue shows. Our goal is to hit many of these shows and actually have a booth geared specifically at you, our reader. Personally, I think this is one area we as an editorial staff haven't addressed in many years. We go to shows and shoot show coverage and feature trucks, shake hands with a few people, jump on a plane, and head home. However, the number one question asked so often by our readers is how can they get a T-shirt. Our standard answer is usually to call our 800 number and order one. Stickers also go a long way to building brand awareness, and again, it is one area we have often overlooked. Not this year. Budgets permitting, we will be in attendance at many shows this year with just such a product. Posters, models signing posters, T-shirts, hats, and stickers will be flowing. So, when you see us, and hopefully you will make it out to many, if not all, of the biggest events, come by and hang out with us for a little bit. Then, come and take away all of our free goodies.
And speaking of big shows, don't forget to mark on your calendars our three large truck show events. The first event will be in Las Vegas again at the Fremont Street Experience, scheduled for April 2-3. The second event will take place during September 25-26, when we will once again return to the Texas Extreme Ski Ranch in New Braunfels. Since last year's event was received so overwhelmingly well, this year's show promises to be even bigger. I certainly hope to see as many Truckin' readers as the park can possibly hold. And just in case you will be unable to make that date, we also have the Truckin' Nats in Phoenix, Arizona, scheduled for October 23-24, with our annual State 2 State Cruise leading a huge procession of trucks to Firebird Raceway. Like I said, we are about to be knee-deep into show season. So, are you ready?
