As we write this, it is that time of year again when people are getting their prized trucks ready for the start of the show season and are busily prepping their rides for public display. Fortunately for the staff of Truckin' magazine, many of these early season kick-off shows are only about a four-hour drive from our Anaheim, California, office to the bright lights and excitement of Las Vegas. One of these shows, The Underground, hosted at the famous Fremont Street Experience in downtown Vegas by the Southern Nevada Mini Truck and Car Council, is a can't-miss affair.
On Sunday, March 21, we packed up our camera gear and hopped on the road to check out one of the best one-day shows around. With live music and a huge trophy display, trucks from all around came to Fremont Street to show off their off-season progress. Being so early in the season, there were still a lot of trucks in the middle of their transformations and plenty still under construction, making us anxious for what later this year has to offer.
