Cobra Performance was out in force, and this beauty is the company's new 280 Python party
When it comes to the West Coast boating scene and the release of new models, nothing compares to the Los Angeles Boat Show. Presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, this year's show was bigger and better than ever. It occupied nearly 500,000 square feet and featured more than 1,000 new boats and marine accessories. The L.A. Boat Show truly has something for everyone, from first-time boaters to seasoned salts. If it floats, you can find it here.
We wandered the show for two days, and we probably still did not take it all in. Gazing in amazement at the newest offerings from every manufacturer under the sun, we gawked at big-block-equipped vintage circle racers and even got a chance to steal a look inside an offshore luxury Eliminator running dual surface drives. Absolutely awesome equipment. Magic Powerboats had its new 30-foot party Cat on hand, but the clincher was that the 30-footer is as wide as their dual-motor 34-foot Cat-unbelievable amounts of interior room for you and your friends. And to frost the cake, it was equipped with a first for the boating industry: power bimini. Look through some of the photos we shot, and see what catches your eye.
