July 22-24 was the big weekend, and Austin, Texas, was the big place to be. Never one to disappoint, the Texas Heatwave Show is by far one of the best shows during our flurried year, and this year was no different. Features are easy to come by, as it is a very target-rich environment. With sponsors on board like Audiobahn, Nitto, ALSA, and Sony Xplod, it's obvious the show is big just by the names on the sponsor roll. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. Evening thunderstorms rammed their way through the area regularly. Add temperatures hovering at 100 degrees F chasing the tails of 100-percent humidity and it becomes clear how the show got its name. But if you can only attend a few shows a year, and you haven't seen this one, then by all means, put it on your schedule for next year.
