Boyd's Model A is powered by a small-block Chevy 350 from GM Performance Parts with an aluminum block and cylinder heads. It's equipped with a Crane Cams hydraulic roller camshaft and an Enderle injection unit that's converted to electronic control by Jim Foley from Reno. A lightweight aluminum-body Powerglide transmission was a natural choice to transmit power to the third member.
