To improve upon the stock F-150 powerplant, Street Scene's freshly slammed creation was delivered to Whipple Superchargers in Fresno, California. The professional horsepower builders at Whipple strapped on one of its new polished supercharger units to give the F-150 tire-blazing capabilities when the go pedal is planted. Aiding further in the quest for more ponies is a Gibson exhaust system and a K&N air filter, while an Optima battery provides the mill with ample cranking power. An available 445 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque tells us those rear Toyo hides will most likely be replaced fairly soon.

With the hammered stance and potent powerplant completed, the truck was brought back to Southern California, where the crew at Street Scene added some body enhancements from their vast inventory. Up front, a Street Scene front bumper cover and Generation I valance make the nose come alive. Street Scene brushed aluminum main and valance grilles, along with a Street Scene fiberglass hood with Speed Grille inserts and a Street Scene smooth wiper cowl round out the bolt-on facial features. Moving rearward, a Street Scene six-piece side skirt kit lends an aerodynamic touch to the truck's exterior attitude, while a Street Scene roll pan and tailgate handle relocator clean up the scene out back. Smooth Street Scene bedrail caps accent the truck's bodylines, while a Street Scene wing promotes the truck's performance elements. Should company owner Mike Spagnola desire to tow his ski boat to the river or his dirt bikes to the desert, a Street Scene Equipment hidden hitch was added behind a flip-up license plate frame for easy access.

Completion of the bolt-on body enhancements led to performing some serious metal massaging, and there was only one shop for the job. L&G Enterprises in San Dimas, California, specializes in mild to wild custom vehicles and employs some of the world's most talented painters and metal artists, so shaving the F-150's skin and adding the bright-yellow base hue was a walk in the park. To add some classic style to go along with all the new-age technology, L&G fabricated custom front fender cutout vents and shaved the door handles. Door poppers from Audio Innovations in Glendora, California, allow for easy remote entry. The tailgate handle was shaved by L&G using a Street Scene relocator, and once the welding, grinding, sanding, and smoothing was complete, the truck was rolled into the paint booth and coated with a House of Kolor Lemon Yellow base with Lime Gold Candy Apple over the top. The result is a bold and bright Ford with style and class written all over it.
