Paying attention to details and writing the big checks is what separates a show truck from a daily driven workhorse. May 1-2, at this year's Chevy/GMC Nationals in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, truck owners were sweating the details as classic trucks took center stage and late-model Chevys were out in force. Year after year, we are blown away at the quality of trucks at this show, with owners knowing how many turns each bolt took to finish their dream build. Charlie Cobble outdid himself once again by filling up the River's End Hotel parking lot with show-stopping trucks at every end. From the earliest '40 to the latest '03 body-dropped Silverado, the Bow Ties and GMCs alike pleased the large crowds that passed through the show. Returning home to Anaheim, our camera bags were full of features and expectations for next year's show. For more information, contact www.autoshows.cc.
