Truckin' has always been known as the leading trendsetter of the truck and SUV markets. After collaborating with the staff members and visionary artist Steve Stanford about Truckin's 2004 SEMA project, we decided to throw the show a curve by creating an off-road-flavored two-wheel-drive prerunner/chase vehicle van. It will pull double duty as a show and tow vehicle.

We decided to approach the Blue Oval folks in Dearborn, Michigan. A proposal was drafted up and sent off to Ford. We received a phone call a couple of days later pertaining to our request for an '04 Ford E-350 Super Duty 6.0L, Power Stroke diesel 1-ton, two-wheel-drive, cargo (no side windows) van. Ford asked, "Why a van?" We wanted something different that would turn heads and spearhead another custom trend.

After being rolled out of the Lorain, Ohio, assembly facility, it was strapped down on a transporter and delivered to our Anaheim, California, office. We decided to do a quick photo scan to share with our readers so we can compare the finished effort. Stay tuned as we begin our venture.
