Of course! That was our reaction when we spotted Eric Ruis' S-10 Stepside at the Battle of the Trucks in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, last year - not that this insight reflected a jet-lag-induced cranial twitch or similar mental lapse. We were just pointing to the obvious. Truckin' runs all kinds of stories, which meant that we needed to find trucks suitable for a feature, or a tech story, or simply pick out some to call out in the show coverage. As we trolled the show, glancing at, into, and under pickups, the wall of subwoofers in Eric's Chevy immediately defined itself as a potential 12-volt audio/video story. Eric built the truck for his teenage daughter, Courtney, and when you look at the quality of the work that went into this project, it's obvious that this was a labor of love. Rather than go to local shops to do all the work, he built up the truck on his own, for the most part, and apparently with great skill.
