If Tony the Tiger says, "They're GRRRRRREAT," then who are we to disagree? We don't have stripes, a cool bandana, and we're not a famous tiger. But, breakfast cereals aside, we do know sweet trucks, and Sean Mehra from Conroe, Texas, has a mighty fine one. Paying the bills by painting trucks daily, Sean knows a thing or two about spray guns, and when it came time to apply his talents on his own '00 GMC, flames were the only way to a balanced breakfast.

Before applying the color pigment, Sean shaved the door handles, gas door, tailgate handle, and welded a roll pan in place. Using House of Kolor Tangerine Kandy with Orion Silver pinstripe, the front and sides of the C1500 are now the happy recipients of bright-orange flames. Focusing on his negative flame-creating ability, Sean masked off dozens of negative flames in the white base coat and applied long, even strokes to perfect the candycolor application. After a long wet-sanding, Sean installed a set of Denali projector headlights and a billet grille. Taking a look at the truck got the wheels spinning in Sean's head, and the truck build was in motion.

Sean delivered the truck to Justin Yates, also of Conroe, Texas, and quickly saw the GMC dropped to the pavement. Under the flamed skin lie two pairs of Firestone 'bags, a 1/2-inch air line, and an Ekstensive two-link. Riding on Boyd Coddington 20x9-1/2-inch wheels with 255/35R20 Falken tires, the truck sported a whole new personality and was itching for the custom interior treatment.

Keeping with the bright-orange theme, Sean removed the dash, smoothed it, and painted it Kandy Tangerine. Before bolting it back in place, a skull with flames was airbrushed on the airbag cover. Several billet pieces accentuate the painted dash, and PC Auto Upholstery of Spring, Texas, added orange leather inserts to the door panels. Underneath the rear seat rests a killer subwoofer enclosure built by Eddie Denning of Spring, Texas. Eddie stuffed the enclosure with Audiobahn subs driven hard by an Audiobahn 1,000-watt amplifier. Tunes, flames, wheels, now it was time to go faster.

Under the flamed hood, a 5.3L V-8 rumbles thanks to a Flowmaster exhaust, a K&N air filter, and a Hypertech Power Programmer. Now cruising up and down the Texas streets is a blast, and Sean can't stop smiling. Eat your breakfast; it worked for Sean, and it might work for you. Got milk?
