When we talked with Casey Miser, the owner of this '05 Dodge SRT-10 Quad Cab, we kept asking him, why an SRT-10? He responded, "I wanted something exotic, unique, and fast." Well, Casey, you got it. After seeing the all-silver Dodge inside of the Las Vegas Convention Center at the '06 SEMA Show, we were in awe by its subtlety and clean appearance, which struck us with intrigue, and to be honest, any truck with 500 hp is just cool.
Working for All American Truck & SUV Centers, in Salem, Oregon, Casey sees cool trucks roll in and out of shops all day long, so building something different was at the top of his list. It all started in April of 2006, when he picked up the '05 SRT-10 and decided to take this build a little less extreme than previous rigs he'd built. Starting with the suspension, a good ride was important, and the addition of a McGaughy's 2-inch front and 4-1/2-inch rear drop kit was the perfect blend of form and function. The stock 22-inch wheels were replaced with 24x10-inch black-face Detata Cross wheels with 285/40R24 Toyo tires keeping the rubber on the road. Factory 15-inch four-piston calipers stop the fullsize Viper truck at any speed.
Powering the Dodge is an 8.3L V-10 with 500 hp off the lot. Adding several ponies to the mix are Bassani ceramic shorty headers, polished Bassani exhaust with X-pipe, a K&N intake, and throttle-body spacer. Removal of two of the four catalytic converters and the stock resonator really woke up the exhaust note and added some power. All American Truck & SUV Centers, also in Salem, handled all of the performance mods.

Inside of the '05 SRT-10, the factory seats were kept-and for good reason-they came wrapped in leather and suede, already.
Every bit of chrome on the truck was eliminated and brushed All Sales door and tailgate handles now call the Dodge home. The killer flat black-painted Lund elliptical billet grille adds to the menacing front end, whereas real Viper car badges on the hood and the tailgate help on-lookers realize the performance potential of this four-door. Creating a unique look, Matrix projector and Halo-style headlights replaced the factory pieces and smoked taillights make wondering what blew by you an even more difficult task. Mitch Kim was called in to pinstripe the truck and he proceeded to add an awesome, silver-leaf strip all around the truck with gray and white separating the pattern from the custom silver paint, which was applied by Chicles in Salem. Microscopic stick figures were pinstriped onto the truck performing X-rated acts, which adds to the unique personality of the truck. Finishing off the exterior, Casey added Street Scene Equipment's turn signal mirrors and a billet gas door that Mitch airbrushed a grimacing skull onto.
