If Indiana Jones lived in 2007 and needed the ultimate adventure setup, this is what he would use to search for ancient artifacts. Need to outrun a heard of horses in the deepest of sand dunes? No worries, the 750hp rail will get you out of trouble. Or, how about cruising the dig site in style? Yeah, the flame-painted Rhyno will do the trick. And then there is the problem of carting around all of that gear and crew from Atlantis to the Valley of the Crescent Moon...Oh wait, that is no problem with the lifted diesel Mega Cab. With half a million dollars rolling around the Nevada desert, Travis Reif, owner of The Custom Truck Shop, in Las Vegas, would have no problem transporting Indiana anywhere he needed to go. As for the Holy Grail, this just might be the automotive equivalent.

Forty-inch Toyo tires are mounted onto 22x12-inch Weld Velociti 6 chrome wheels and add the perfect amount of flair to the blacked-out Mega Cab.
Travis decided for 2007 he'd roll big with every toy in his garage painted to match and customized beyond belief. Travis has had his fair share of cool custom trucks but never had the ultimate toy collection. It all started with an '06 Tatum Black Widow Spyder sand car. Complete with a full, carbon-fiber body, polished billet front A-arms, chrome-molly chassis, with disc brakes, the 750hp turbocharged Mazda rotary-powered rail is unbelievable. Mike Porter, of Redline Performance in Anaheim, California, built the three-rotor engine equipped with a Mendola sequential shifting transmission and Porsche 934 CV-axles. King Off-Road bypass shocks help to cushion the 25 inches of wheel travel, and the sand car even has four leather seats with an Alpine CD/XM head unit. Custom prototype wheels were made by Weld with Extreme 16.50-17 Dominator tires, and provide traction out back. The custom, candy paintjob is really what Travis loved the most about the rail; especially when the red flames revealed the carbon-fiber body panels through the clear paint. Transporting the killer rail in style was a challenge, and so much so, no other trailer company wanted to make what Travis saw as the ultimate hauler. Designed from the ground up, The Custom Truck Shop crew made a trip to a local metal supplier and bought as much 2x6-inch steel tubing as possible. After 252 hours of labor, Travis' team had a trailer with triple torsion axles, four-wheel brakes, every weld ground smooth, recessed LED lighting, and custom, Pearl Red Metallic paint by B&B Collision. Now, the trailer measures 20x8-1/2 feet with a 5-foot diamond-plate tongue to accommodate Travis' '85 Honda 70cc ATC. The most awesome thing about this trailer is the triple-axle duallief setup. Fitted with a total of 12 16-inch Weld Velociti 6 wheels with Toyo 225/60R16 tires, this may be the sickest trailer being towed to the desert.

More than 70 hours were spent perfecting the doorjambs by Chris Shelton Designs.
Spraying the beautiful flame licks along the sides of the Dodge was Travis' good friend and electrician by trade, Chris Shelton, of Shelton Designs. By using the Dodge Pearl Red Metallic basecoat, Chris applied the House of Kolor Pagan Gold, Black, and Red flake flames to the truck in a makeshift paintbooth inside of the shop. Chris then painted the handles, mirrors, grille, and interior trim; only this time, black was the color of choice for the de-chromed look. To complete the blacked-out look, '06 Dodge Night Runner headlights were added, then the Dodge Ram emblem was given a matted finish, and smoked taillights rounded out the dark theme.
