Matching the truck, thanks to Universal Products, is the 24-foot MasterCraft X-45. It is powered by a 385hp version of GM's 6.0L LQ9 engine, which makes the X-45 just the ticket for dragging your friends around for some watery fun in the sun. MasterCraft makes all of its own billet aluminum trim in-house and this X has it all. Killer vents and trim pieces are all around, including all of the cool speaker covers, and even the speaker housings hanging from the wakeboard tower.

Speaking of speakers, this boat belongs to MasterCraft President Scott Crutchfield, who reached deep into the list of options and pulled out a Clarion head unit with Sirius satellite radio heading up the all-JL amplifier and speaker brigade to blast his favorite liquid tunes. Talk about options, this boat was fitted with the X-Pod dash stuffed with neat, red Borg-Warner gauges and aircraft-style switches. Even heated seats were installed to make those chilly morning runs more comfortable, and they also help to extend the available water season. Once back at the launch ramp, the X-45 rides in style safely on a custom MasterCraft trailer built with double-torsion axles, disc brakes, and a swing-away tongue. It sounds like just the ticket to us.

MasterCraft boats and GM have been in a working relationship like no other. Together, the complementing teams have been dominating both on and off the water. With the summer boating season in full swing, you'll be seeing more from these two companies at a waterway near you. It won't be hard to find where the two companies will be next. Just check out the winner's circle.
