Getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar has never been more fun than driving behind the wheel of this purpose-built Hummer H2 and causing carnage. Luckily, if the need for escaping a precarious situation presents itself, this Hummer is equipped with all of the necessary components to perform a David Copperfield-style exit.

At first glance, you may miss the full exoskeleton cage, or be too short to see the full aircraft jump seats inside, or if you're deaf, there is a good chance the whine of a supercharger was missed. Sounds can be felt and heard from the insane Sony audio system inside, and if that wasn't enough, a full command center provides recon for those aforementioned moments of trouble.

Syndicate Automotive Concepts of San Diego, California, is responsible for creating this one-of-a-kind H2. The team at Syndicate needs no excuse to build cool cars and trucks as it is their daily 9-to-5. However, when Sony needed a crazy vehicle for its new audio and video lines, the shop was recruited to design and construct a rolling box of mischief.

Beginning with the interior, the crew at Syndicate yanked out all of the stock pieces, including the dash, seats, console, door panels, body panels, and even the carpet. With the dash missing, the guys at Syndicate carefully measured the newly-vacant confines of the interior firewall. A custom fiberglass dash was built out of wood and resin, then stuffed with a total of seven Sony monitors, and the stock gauge cluster was relocated to the passenger side, along with the HVAC controls. Also added to the new custom dash was a Sony CDXM9905 head unit sending signals to Sony Xplod 6-1/2-inch speakers in custom kickpanels and the rear doors. Power is supplied by a total of six Sony Xplod amps that were custom-painted camouflage and housed in a large amp wall in the back-hatch area. Hovering above those amps are two Sony Xplod 12-inch subs in awesome jet-engine-like pods facing the front of the cabin. Additionally, the movie chores are handled by a Sony DVD player mounted in the front of the amp rack. Although, the creativity of the audio setup is what really distinguishes itself from other Hummer H2s.

Completing the interior, Jim's Upholstery, which is also in San Diego, laid down the tan cut pile carpet and then four Kirkey Racing Seats were added. A 1.5-inch-diameter inner rollcage gives the inside a race feel and provides extra mounting points for the seats.

Moving on to the exterior, Syndicate filled both the front and rear quarter windows, along with shaving the entire back glass. The team then added custom-made triangular rock sliders with large Predator Motorsports bumpers, which incorporate a Warn 8.5ti winch. After the Glasurit Olive Green paint was applied to the Hummer's body, the Syndicate team created a 1.75-inch-diameter exoskeleton cage for the ultimate in rugged looks and protection. Finishing the H2s mystique is a new ride height, courtesy of a 12-inch Bulletproof Suspension lift. Jason Hughes installed the lift and the Fox Racing 2.0 Shox, along with the 40-inch Nitto Mud Grappler tires that were mounted onto black KMC Rockstar wheels measuring 22x12 inches. Turning those huge tires is not a problem, thanks to the Vortec 6.0L V-8 that is boosted from a Vortech polished supercharger incorporating an air-to-water intercooler. Combine that blown intake charge with a 3-inch MagnaFlow exhaust system, and that lucky driver has 500 hp at their disposal. Hughes Differential Service installed the front and rear 4.56 gears, and then Drive Line Service of San Diego lengthened both driveshafts to ensure driving was safe and reliable.

As menacing as the Hummer is, Syndicate was able to put its custom touches on it and create a killer ride. Big, bad, and blown; being behind the wheel of this machine is like playing a video game.
