If the custom-truck scene were the wild, wild west, Jessie Dickerson would be on every wanted poster in the county. 'Bagged, body-dropped, and flamed, '98 GMC Sierra is his steed of choice. When the rockers go dragging through Main Street, Jessie leaves a trail of trouble at the local watering hole, brothel, and general store. Be on the lookout, and approach with caution, because this man is dangerous.
A desperado in his own right, the North Little Rock, Arkansas, resident began his custom-truck journey by putting the cut rockers over a 3x4-inch tube chassis welded up by All Tube Center. With the cab cut 2-5/8 inches, the rockers lay on the dirt, thanks to Belltech spindles and Slam Specialites RE7 airbags. Peering behind the fenders are color-matched Bonspeed Laguna billet wheels sized 22x8-1/2 inches. Out back, Jessie added a rear two-link with a cross link, along with Slam Specialties 'bags, 3/8-inch SMC valves, and he also went ahead and hard-lined the airbags with stainless lines. Before everything was put back together, the frame was painted and detailed. With the stance nailed, Jessie looked to make the body equally as rebellious.
One of Jessie's accomplices, Adam, from Jacksonville, Arkansas, performed the bodywork that consisted of robbing the body of the door handles, rear bumper, gas door, and taillights. In their place, Adam added a custom front bumper with foglights, a front Phantom grille shell, and a smooth roll pan. Jeff Bryant snuck in to spray the paints, which included PPG Dark Silver, Lamborghini Orange, and slick Sour Apple Green flames. Jeff also airbrushed menacing skulls inside of the green flames.
Inside the shaved doors lies an interior that helps Jessie get into even more trouble. A smoothed and painted dash with billet accessories is complemented by Katzkin two-tone leather seat covers, along with a Budnik billet steering wheel, and a dual A-pillar pod housing the Air Ride Technologies air gauges. There's no need for a crazy sound system. For this man on the run, a 350ci V-8 with MagnaFlow exhaust provides the rumble. Jessie also painted darn-near everything underneath the hood, after the firewall was tubbed 2 inches to clear the 22s. Getting the heck out of town is made a little easier, thanks to 3.73 gears with a locking rear end.
Jessie may be a hell raiser, but we'll blame the truck in this round, as it is just too much fun to get wild in such a sick ride.
