The weather during our Havoc show in Lake Havasu, Arizona, was hot. Luckily, we found trucks there to shoot that were even hotter. You may have seen this truck before. It's owned by Jonathan Trevino of Glendale, Arizona. It's a sick custom we nabbed during our foray into the desert, managing to shoot it after the sun went down. Want to learn more about the pickup? What started as an `02 Chevrolet Silverado with a work-truck trim level (and later had a 6-inch suspension lift and a 3-inch body lift on 35-inch tires) got massaged inside and out into a stand-out custom. Beginning with the outside, all of the major protuberances got cleanly shaved: wiper cowl, antenna, taillights, door handles, tailgate, third brake light, and the stake pockets. Grunion Fabrication provided front and rear fenders to better accommodate the wheels and tires package (more on those later). Toner Black, Orion Silver, and Candy Blue paints from House of Kolor give the truck its cool two-tone theme, thanks to Russell Hanson at H13. Meanwhile, Lyle Fitz at Auto Art laid on the pinstripes.

Inside the truck, marbleized blue coats sections of the dash, door panels, and the fabricated center console. Black leather lines the dash, rear of the cab, and door panels, and bears embossed flame patterns on all of these locations. The seats were lined with black BMW leather and blue suede. Those black-and-blue materials were also applied to the carpet and headliner, respectively. A Trenz billet steering wheel lends a bright aluminum exclamation point to the interior presentation. The Interior Shop from Phoenix applied the upholstery.

The truck booms and beams, due to an array of audio and video accoutrements. An Eclipse 5435 head unit with monitor was mounted in the custom center console, along with relocated HVAC controls and the suspension's switches. Above it in the dash is a 10-inch monitor. The head unit feeds the audio to the JL Audio 300/4 and 500/1 amplifiers. From there, the signal goes to the two JL Audio 10W3 10-inch subwoofers behind the seats, where they reside in the similarly blue-marbled fiberglassed enclosures. Meanwhile, 6- and 4-inch separates from JL Audio were mounted into the doors and four 7-inch monitors were installed into the headrests and sun visors. Total Auto Pros in Phoenix installed the audio/video.
