Jonathan Vargas is a member of Nokturnal Car Club, Orange County chapter, which means he's surrounded by over-the-top customs every time there's a get-together. To stand out from the crowd, he went full-bore with his '02 Dodge Ram.
The result is a truck that is custom inside and out, displaying wild paint effects and a crazy interior.
Beginning with the suspension work, Sick Fabrication in Chino Hills, California, dropped a few leaves off the springs and added 'bags, which simplified the rear. The leaf springs still locate the axle, so it wasn't necessary to fabricate any links or a Panhard bar. In the front, custom cups were fabricated to hold the airbags and the inner fenderwells were cut out to fit some massive rolling stock. After all of the sparks flew and the dust settled, the Dodge was all set to run 26-inch Lexani Marqi wheels on all corners.
With the truck dropped onto its massive wheels, Jonathan still wanted the truck to look lower, so a JT Autostyle Evo 6 body kit was added to the truck. While he was adding some bodywork, Jonathan added a Mopar hoodscoop and tonneau cover that was split to open in the center. Then, things started coming off: the door handles, antenna, and all three brake lights were shaved. New brake lights were mounted into the roll pan from the body kit, and the last additions were Lambo-style doors and a Starline panoramic sunroof. The autobody crew at JT Autostyle got the body ready and sprayed the entire truck, including most of the interior, in candy blue marble paint. Custom window tint graphics were added by Xtreme Tint in Whittier, California, that combine the colors of the interior and exterior. The last touch of paint came courtesy of Earn-Money in Anaheim, California, where the graphics and murals were airbrushed on, both inside and out.
