The polished supercharger breathes cool air through a Griffin intercooler and runs cooler, thanks to the Griffin aluminum radiator and SPAL electric fans. Tuning was handled by the Street and Performance specialists and final horsepower numbers quickly spiked the dyno at 622 hp at the rear wheels. Other custom engine modifications included a Peterson dry sump oil system and several plastic pieces painted to add sleek looks to all those ponies.
Back at the Godfather Customs' shop, the guys began taking the stock suspension apart and installing a Belltech 4/7 drop on the Silverado. Up front, a drop spindle was bolted up, along with a Belltech coilover shock. Out back, the Godfather team used a flip kit and Belltech Nitro Drop 2 shocks to bring it level. With the wheels off, Baer brakes were added to the front and rear, which helped bring the Chevy to a quicker halt. Speaking of wheels, on went a set of 24x10-inch chrome Giovanna Canelli wheels wrapped in Pirelli 285/30R24 tires up front and 305/40R24 Pirellis in the rear.
