For truck enthusiasts who feel the need for speed with neck-snapping acceleration, a Dodge SRT-10 with its fire-breathing 8.3L Viper V-10 powerplant is the perfect ride. Just ask Salvador Parra from Victorville, California, who throttles his '06 Dodge SRT-10 daily. He will be the first to tell you he has received three speeding tickets since owning the venomous snake.

After getting together with his bother-in-law, Julian Paiz, who owns 1st Class Auto Body in Hesperia, California, they decided the black snakeskin needed some flames. Julian delivered by laying down three sets of wispy-lined flames that cover the hood, drape over the front fenders, and continue along the quad cab doors. Julian used DuPont White Pearl, Candy Blue, and Candy Black, then buried the flames in four coats of clear. The factory chrome mesh grille was blacked out, while the headlights and taillights also received the smoked treatment to enhance the snake's stealth appearance. Salvador had Julian paint the Ram 22x9-1/2-inch aluminum wheels semi-gloss black. Functional air vents were fused into the front fenders to allow heat to escape from inside the engine compartment.

Under the hood houses the 8.3L Viper V-10 engine that produces 510 hp and 525 lb-ft of torque, with a top speed of 150 mph. A K&N air intake directs cool outside air into the 65mm airfoil throttle-body. A pair of Flowmaster mufflers transformed the Viper's hiss into a throaty rumble.

Under the hood is all horsepower. The SRT-10 8.3L, 505ci V-10 aluminum engine produces 510 hp and 525 lb-ft of neck-snapping torque. The SRT-10 launches from 0 to 60 mph in 6-seconds.
