The rear tailgate section was completely removed. Then, the rear quarter panels were cut back 2 inches. The new rear section was cut, formed, bent, and rolled. Then, it was welded into place and grounded-down smooth. A pair of custom-made Scott's Hot Rods oval LED taillights with polished aluminum beauty rings were mounted flush to the new skin.
