Chance Kamp is the owner of All Out Off-Road Performance just outside of Houston, Texas. As their name implies, their specialty is lifted 4x4s, but that's not all they do, as their interior modifications and suspension know-how extends to lowered trucks as well. But Chance knew that big and bold was the best way for his shop to gain exposure, and we just couldn't pass up his '08 Sierra HD when we spotted it at Texas Showdown. We zeroed in on the truck from 100 yards away, sitting head and shoulders above every other truck in the parking lot. With only a few more finishing touches to be completed on the truck, we scheduled a shoot and met him later to get the monster on film.
The first step in the transformation was a total teardown of the back half of the truck. The bed, transmission, transfer case, and all of the brake lines and wiring were removed to allow the frame to be smoothed in preparation for matching red paint. South Coast Customs, also in Houston, handled the paint and bodywork, including the shaved tailgate and graphics by South Coast's Mad Max.
To complement the new red frame, lower bumper trim, and door handles, Chance's crew at All Out reskinned the factory seats in Classic Soft Trim black leather upholstery with red, suede inserts. Since they were already going through the trouble, they added new Kenwood headrest monitors along the way. The monitors are fed video signals from the Kenwood DNX7120 DVD/Navigation head unit. A black suede headliner and suede-wrapped pillars capped off the clean and functional interior.
The suspension and undercarriage of Chance's Sierra is what really steals the show. All Out Off-Road used 3rd Coast Suspension's dropped control arm mounts to lift the GMC a whopping 16 inches to mount 40x15.5-inch Toyo Mud Terrain tires on 22x11-inch BMF Novakane 8 wheels. The rear of the truck was lifted with deeply-arched 3rd Coast springs and a 2-inch lift block, and every corner is dampened by dual Sway-A-Way shocks . Every piece of the lift was either powdercoated to match or was chromed. Even the Duramax's oil pan and Allison transmission's Mag-Hytec pan were coated red to match the truck.

Even the inside of the bed was used to customize the truck, as the custom spare tire/cargo rack holds an extra BMF 22x11-wheel and 40-inch Toyo tire in addition to five Pro Comp lights.
