Soft-touch two-tone blue vinyl seats were installed by George Yago Trim Shop and complement the dark blue carpet and silver suede headliner. The factory dash features Autometer gauges and the stock steering wheel with a chrome horn button. In order to keep things safe, a 1 7/8-inch chrome moly rollbar was added and along with the R.J.S. five-point racing harnesses, really add to the performance character of the Ford. An oak wood floor and cabinet were added to the rear of the van and a stained glass door keeps the interior traditional. Helping to tie in the Apline Mountain Spring Water Co. theme, several water jugs were placed in the wooden cabinet and provide instant refreshment for those hot Pennsylvania summer days.
In a matter of 2 1/2 years, Gary's wish of having a nice Econoline of his own went from dream to reality and he is quick to thank those who helped along the way. Gary wanted to extend thanks to: John, Paul, Greg, George, Paul Larkin, Jim Shoemaker, Bill Dobransky, and his wife Cathy. Able to pull the front wheels off the ground at will, can you think of a cooler water delivery van? Anyone thirsty?
