Looking past these interior shortcomings, the Pathfinder did provide good ride quality over the 1,000 miles we put on it and with an overall MPG of 18.7, the V-6 wasn't as thirsty as we imagined. Filled to the gills with luggage, camping gear, and sports equipment, we can attest to the 79.2 cubic feet of interior storage space (with the second and third row seats folded flat). Fitting seven adults in the Pathfinder for long periods of time wouldn't be advised, as the third row is cramped, but for short stints to and from, it will suffice. If you can look past some interior issues and a mid-size SUV with capable off-road prowess is in your future, the Pathfinder is a solid choice to consider.
