Since Pete and Jason personally specialize in all things interior, they handled the Chevy's plush upholstery styling, along with the helping hands of Mark Hull. Tan and Orange suede now covers the seats, door panels, as well as the headliner, and the aggressively styled stitchwork makes for an interesting in-cab atmosphere. The dash was given a fiberglass and paint treatment filled with Dolphin gauges. While Jason had his sleeves rolled up, he installed a Pioneer head unit and fabricated a pair of kick panels to house a few decibel-blasting Memphis Audio speakers. What better way to advertise your company's level of expertise than to go all out on a project that will be seen by the eyes of millions of custom truck enthusiasts worldwide?
With this '49 Chevy being Pete and Jason's first full custom build between the two of them, the experience of coming together to see its progress materialize into a flattering feature truck has been an experience to hold sacred. With the help of a few special friends, the Shadoan family now has a terrific truck that will serve as inspiration for many more potential father/son projects to begin and ultimately storm the custom scene with a vengeance.
