This month's Busted Knuckles subject could actually become yours one day, and besides that, it has a little more substance behind the story of its build than the few under construction rides we've previously displayed. The Cruisin' For A Cure '52 Chevy pickup is currently on the chopping block and being restored to serve as one of the coolest fundraiser pieces we've ever seen. The truck will be given away at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky on September, 25, 2010, and if you want a chance to take this beauty home, all you have to do is buy a raffle ticket-or a few hundred.

Chevy 350 Engine
Right now, the '52 Chevy is torn apart and getting the drivetrain in order. A small-block Chevy 350ci V-8 will power the old Bow Tie and a shortened S-10 frame will serve as the easy-to-work-on foundation. McGaughy's suspension components will ensure the truck is nice and low, and for a classic hot-rod look, 18-inch Coy's C-5 wheels will be mounted to each corner. Sheetmetal from Southern Kentucky Classics is going to replace the rusted and dented body panels and if that isn't enticing enough, the silver paintjob is sure to stay classy for years to come.
