Totally tubular. This one-of-a-kind round-tube chassis was constructed from 1 1/2-inch O.D. .120 wall mild-steel. The parallel round-tubes were separated by 1/4-inch-thick dimple-holed steel plate. An all-Corvette C6 suspension was fine-tuned with Ride Tech Shockwave airbags up front and cantilevered Ride Tech air springs in the rear. The power of the SLP LS 406ci was transferred from the CenterForce single disc clutch that is linked by a torque tube to the Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission bolted to a C5 transaxle.
