Our jaws hit the ground when we heard back from Jesse Freeman III. He and his family were going to make the cross-country trip to SoCal all the way from New Jersey. We told you truck guys are a special breed. As the man behind True Blue Motorsports (www.tbmsport.com), he knows the Trailblazer like the back of his hand. His AWD SUV featured the first Nordstrom Automotive-supplied 6L90E trans swap by Wayne Jones Performance and is tuned with torque management thanks to EFI Live. All day long he didn’t let off of the throttle, and he provided some great entertainment as he tried to go into the stop box sideways and ended up murdering a cone or three. Driving his True Blue Motorsports ’07 Trailblazer SS 2,800 miles, Jesse proved to all of us his dedication, but more importantly, his machine’s ability to cruise down the interstate and still beat up a track when asked to.
