One of the first steps many manufacturers take when starting a fresh company and releasing new aftermarket products is to build a vehicle befitting of the parts created. Marco Najarro is no different and created a line of industrial sized and strength towhooks to suit the lifted fullsize truck community. Born from the necessity of getting large and heavy vehicles unstuck in the sand dunes, Monster Hooks was born. With colors ranging from basic black to chrome, and even candy chrome, the Monster Hooks line has already sprouted additional products in the form of billet fender grilles and custom exhaust tips. To suit the gigantic hooks, a fairly burly truck would need to be built. What better truck than the aptly named Ford Super Duty.

Partnered with Nic Germano and Outkast Kustoms, Marco had plenty of support behind him. This ’11 Ford F-250 he deemed Monster Duty is the fruit of his labors for showing off his hooks while hitting the sand dunes. Holding the truck up high is a Top Gun Customz 8-inch suspension lift system consisting of a four-link system in front with a conversion to Top Gun’s Black-ops coilover shocks with reservoirs. On the rear of the longbed truck are Top Gun fabricated lift blocks augmented with add-a-leaves from Atlas Spring to gain the necessary height. Black-ops shocks with reservoirs were fit in place to handle the extra spring. Adding some sway control are tuned sway bars from Hellwig, both front and back. Attached to the axles you’ll find a pair of Mag-Hytec finned diff covers and SSBC cross-drilled, Big Bite rotors mixed with braided stainless steel lines to halt the rig when necessary. Rolling attire comes in the form of 24x10½-inch RBP 96R wheels finished in black with traction duties handled by Interco and the company’s 40x14.50 SS-M16 tires. Keeping the tires from fighting is a Black-ops dual steering stabilizer from Top Gun.

Under the hood is an AFE Stage 2 cold-air intake system, and although the exhaust is completely factory, Marco slipped one of his black MHI tips in place of the ugly intercooled duals. Dual YellowTop Optima batteries ensure plenty of cranking power is on hand.

Coating the exterior skin is a dose of Vermillion Red with some tastefully applied additions. Front and back, the original chrome bumpers were replaced with heavy-duty Fusion bumpers filled with Rigid LED lights. The headlights, fit with HIDs and flanking an RBP grille insert, match the sinister black front end thanks to a bit of tinting. Marco’s aforementioned MHI fender vents replace the original chrome pieces and Bushwacker fender flares, originally covered in carbon fiber by Hydro-Dip, were black candy coated before being employed to fight the blast of filth from the tires. On the roof is a rack with additional white and amber Rigid lights, while in the bed, Line-X coats the floor and sides set off by a Monster Hooks logo. Taillights and side-view mirror lights are courtesy of Recon. Helping Marco and his family gain entry into the Monster Duty are step bars from N-Fab. Of course, Monster Hooks hang from both ends for emergencies or scaring the locals.

In all, Marco’s goal was to build something that could be used to show off his Monster Hooks line and he’ll be sure to put a couple to good use when given the chance.
