1301Tr 10 2005 Chevy Silverado Rolling Shot

Powering the Chevy is a built LS1 making nearly 400 hp, but it's the engine's good looks that really garner show points. A billet March Performance serpentine setup, GMPP smooth valve covers, polished Weiand intake, and Sanderson headers do an incredible job of cleaning up the Corvette engine. The clean style continues inside the truck, thanks to Interiors by Design, also in Alvin.

These trick door handles pop out and then can be used as a lever to open the door. It’s these clever yet subtle mods that most people don’t notice until several times walking around the truck.

While there, the cabin was gutted and fitted with a stretched '55 Chevy sheetmetal dash, '55 Chevy steering wheel, and Dakota Digital gauges. Custom-made seats were wrapped in two-tone Ultraleather, while German weave carpet and a single piece leather headliner add class to the Chevy. Custom is a word used often with this truck, and the floating console is definitely unique. Lupe, at Texas Made Audio handled the stereo system, which is run off of an iPad 2 docked at the base of the console. It feeds MP4 audio to two Rockford Fosgate amps powering Alpine Type R components in each kick panel, while two Kicker L7 subs pound out the bass.

The truck has rightfully earned top trophies at each show it has attended. With an impressive show display and a long list of mods, this may just be the best show truck in America. Steven was quick to thank his family, the Alamo crew, Zack, and BASF for their help.
