Most truck owners have a loving and caring wife or girlfriend who supports their not-so-better-half’s endeavors and passion for custom vehicles. Matt and Traci Hoerauf of Odessa, Texas, are no different—except for the fact that Traci shares Matt’s love for custom trucks. So much so that when her husband completed his 2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty, Traci wanted a brand-new vehicle of her own. After making a trip to the local Ford dealer, Traci drove home in a 2013 Ford F-150 Raptor. She loved her new truck, but it was just a little too stock for her taste.
Traci took her newfound love to Complete Customs in Odessa, Texas. She needed a more off-road-ready suspension and new rolling stock. This was accomplished with an Icon 3.0 coilover conversion up front. Matching Icon 3.0 piggyback reservoir bypass shocks were swapped into the rear for an unmatched ride on- and off-road. Traci didn’t want to have to worry about rubbing while hitting the trails, so she chose 35-inch General Tire red-letter Grabbers wrapped around 20-inch American Force Vector wheels. Bringing the big, red beast to a halt is a combination of Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors and performance pads.

With the bigger wheels and tires, Traci wanted to give the 6.2L a boost in power, literally. Roush Performance was sourced for a Phase 2 supercharger kit. Completing the power package is a Roush cool-air intake, headers, and exhaust. This brought the final power numbers closer to 600 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Finally, a set of Nitro 4.10 gears helps transfer the power to the front and rear wheels.
To help Traci’s Ford Raptor turn heads while cruising the highways and trails in Texas, the team at Complete Customs got to work on the body. The first things to go were the bumpers, which were replaced with sheetmetal Fusion versions. Both front and rear bumpers were filled with Rigid lights that rival the sun in brightness. A giant 50-inch Rigid lightbar is also found on the roof of the Raptor. No road will be too dark for Traci to conquer. An RBP RX-3 LED grille adds form and function to an otherwise boring grille shell. An Undercover tonneau cover lets Traci haul cargo securely and safely in the bed.
The final piece of the puzzle was the interior. To protect the seats, a set of Wet Okole neoprene seat covers was installed. A custom set of Lloyd Mats floor mats was embroidered with the Complete Customs logo and helps protect the carpet from dirt, water, mud, and anything else that may be tracked into the SuperCrew. Traci didn’t need to make any modifications to the stereo—she would rather listen to the sound of the healthy V-8 roar under the hood.
Finally, Traci had her own truck that she could use to cruise around the Lone Star state. She also had a truck that rivaled her husband’s—and that is what she was secretly really after. You may have seen this truck before, as it was featured on the TV show TruckU on GAC. That is something Traci can proudly say her husband didn’t accomplish. Even with the competition between them, Traci wanted to give a big thanks to Matt and the crew at Complete Customs as well as all the sponsors of the build.
