When Bullet Liner West Coast Regional Sales Manager Kevin Kraack was tasked with the responsibility of creating a head-turning promotional vehicle, he looked no further than Ford's rowdy off-road creation: the 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Daily responsibilities limited his wrench time, so he entrusted the Raptor build to the pros at The Custom Truck Shop in San Dimas, California. In their trusted hands, the truck quickly went from factory fresh to sand-dune attack vessel.
The first items to be upgraded were the front fenders and rear bedsides, which were swapped in favor of Boatec Inc. fiberglass units. This allowed room to clear 35-inch General Grabber red-letter tires mounted to 17-inch Method Race Wheels. Up front, the factory bumper was replaced with a CTS*LGE tubular prerunner-style bumper with a 30-inch Bulldog Lighting LED lightbar and stainless skidplate. A rear CTS*LGE tubular bumper and Street Scene roll pan clean up the rearend while offering superior protection. Plenty of power is always on tap courtesy of a Volant intake, Stainless Works headers, and Diablo Sport Trinity tuner. Rounding out the exterior mods, Anzo projector headlights were added, along with LED taillights and, of course, a bed sprayed in Bullet Liner.
Thanks to larger Boatec Inc. fiberglass fenders, the Raptor easily swallows up the 35-inch General Grabber red-letter tires.
